Getting Started
The most important entry on the screen is the Charity Reference as this is linked to the licence for this application and is essential for the return via the Government Gateway.
The program can be installed and used free of charge for a limited trial period before a licence must be bought. The licence is per charity rather than per user. The Start Screen shows the date when the trial period expires.
Full functionality is available during the trial period with the exception of reclaim submissions via the Government Gateway.
The Accounting Year End is a bit of a leftover from the older R68 forms that were required prior to April 2013. This was is used to break up the reporting periods required by HMRC and it still provides a useful division of Gifts.
After adding the Charity details the next step is to add the Appeal
