Find Old Gifts

If the file gets very large you may want to reduce the size by deleting older records.
You should always make sure there is a backup of the file before deleting old Gifts.

Once a date has been entered, the "Find" button fills the grids with the dates of the last Gift made for each Donor and Appeal if it is before this date.

Gifts that have been reclaimed cannot be deleted until the associated Reclaim has been deleted.

Delete a Donor

Highlight the row of the Donor and press the "Delete" or "D" key.

Delete an Appeal

Highlight the row of the Appeal and press the "Delete" or "D" key.

Edit Donor or Appeal

Press "Enter", "E" or "F2" on the row in the grid.

To remove old Gifts click on the "Delete all Gifts not connected to a Reclaim before the above date" button.
This will help to keep the file size manageable.

Once deleted, they are gone for good from the current file.
